BACOLOD City – Elements of Police Station 8 nabbed eight persons for allegedly playing an illegal gambling game called “bug-oy” on Saturday in Purok 4, Magsungay, Barangay Singcang-Airport in this city.
Arrested were Erber Doronilla,43; Kevin Tom Cabatingan, 24; Richard Galleno, 39; Ian Ramos, 31; Edmar Doronilla, 24; Reynan Galleno, 36; Romeo Niepes, 42; and Noel Jundos, 36, all residents of Barangay Singcang-Airport.
Recovered from them were four pieces of sea shells which they allegedly used in playing and P810 cash amount.
Police said the suspects are facing charges for violation of the Illegal Gambling Law.
They are now detained./PN
