BACOLOD City – An antidrug operation in Purok Fire, Barangay 8 on Sunday evening led to the arrest of five people.

The 26-year-old Jeric “Ric-Ric” Bayotas of San Juan Street in the village was the subject of the operation, said Chief Inspector Benedicto Villarias, Police Station 2 head.

Two plastic packs of suspected shabu, P500 marked money and several drug paraphernalia were seized from him.

Four were caught snorting suspected shabu in Bayotas’ house: Peter John Clodualdo, 23, of Barangay Tangub; Lorenzo Cabal Jr., 22, of Barangay Sum-ag; Bart John Lizabes, 19, of Barangay Pahanocoy; and Joemarie Longakit, 24.

An improvised tooter with traces of suspected shabu and other drug paraphernalia were recovered from them.

Bayotas and the four others will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
