BACOLOD City – Three illegal drug suspects were caught in two separate buy-bust operations in EB Magalona, Negros Occidental.
Elena Pedrajas, 29, of Barangay Tanza was arrested around 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday.
The target of the operation, 31-year-old Nicholas Abellar of Barangay Rizal, Silay City, escaped. Sensing he was being entrapped, he ran toward a sugarcane field, police said.
Police seized two plastic packs of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia and a Honda XRM 125 motorcycle.
Operatives from the Regional Special Operation Task Group and the EB Magalona police station staged the operation.
On the same day, the same operatives caught Glen Pumares, 22, of Barangay Madalag and Dante Mota, 25, of Barangay Mambulac, Silay City.
Two plastic packs of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia were recovered from them./PN
