BACOLOD City – Two wanted persons were arrested in Silay and Himamaylan cities in Negros Occidental.
In Silay City, police caught the 63-year-old Danilo Aguilar of Hacienda Pula, Barangay E. Lopez on the strength of an arrest warrant that Regional Trial Court Branch 40 Judge Dyna Doll Chiongson-Trocio on Jan. 1.
Aguilar was charged with acts of lasciviousness, in violation of Republic Act 7610, or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.
The court set bail at P200,000.
In Himamaylan City, officers arrested Erwin Fernandez, 26, of Barangay 2 for violation of the Anti-Cattle Rustling Law.
Regional Trial Court Branch 56 (Himamaylan City) issued the arrest warrant on Jan. 16 and set bail at P36,000./PN
