BACOLOD City – Six people, including four women, were arrested in separate illegal drug buy-bust operations.
Police caught the following on Monday:
* Rodnie Lanada, 34, of Purok Cabugwason, Barangay Mansilingan
* Janet Candelario, 48, of Purok Cabugwason, Barangay Mansilingan
* Richard Tutop, 28, of Cereza North, Barangay 3
* Caroline Danal, 35, of Purok Cereza 2, Barangay 27
* Crystalline Limbaga, 32, of Purok Neptune, Barangay Singcang-Airport
* Mary Rose Sanchez, 25, of Purok San Roque, Barangay Handumanan
All suspects were detained and charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Police arrested Lanada and live-in partner Candelario in Purok Cabugwason, Barangay Mansilingan around 10:10 p.m.
Suspected shabu worth P45,000, P300 marked money, P1,640 cash, and drug paraphernalia were seized from them.
Lanada was recently released from detention after he was acquitted from the charge of violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
Tutop was arrested around 7:45 p.m. Confiscated from him were two plastic packs of suspected shabu, P300 marked money, P420 cash, and drug paraphernalia.
Danal was caught in her house around 11:50 a.m. Police seized from her a plastic pack of suspected shabu, P300 marked money and P200 cash.
Police nabbed Limbaga after finding in her possession three plastic packs of suspected shabu, while Sanchez was apprehended after operatives seized from her a plastic pack of similar substance, P330 marked money and P150 cash./PN
