BACOLOD City – Suspected members of the Special Partisan Unit of the New People’s Army shot to death a farmer in Sitio Haroy, Barangay Montilla, Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental.
Ronnie Mamella, a resident of the village, died of multiple gunshot wounds on the body, said Senior Inspector Allan Reloj.
Mamella was drinking in his house when three alleged rebels barged in around 6:15 p.m. on Monday, fired at him and fled, investigation showed. Police were still trying to determine the motive./PN
