A. Diasnes jins bag medals in Dinagyang taekwondo tilt

TAEKWONDO jins from the A. Diasnes Taekwondo Gym took home numerous medals in the 2019 Dinagyang Taekwondo Championships held recently at the Western Institute of Technology Gym.

Taking home gold medals in poomsae were Elizabeth Marie Borres (individual and mixed pair), Kean Ryth Bornazal (individual and mixed pair), Johnniel Andre Cabaraca individual and team black), and Anton Miguel Naffarete (individual and team black).

Also with gold medals were Justine James Diasnes, Mariel Angela Siscar, Paolo Vito Gonzalez, Kristie Marie Siscar, Aryan Nicole Nonis, Airon Melvin Aguana, Joycie Pearl Tacuel, and Artha Camille Tanagon.

Completing the gold medal poomsae winners from Diasnes stable were Xandrew Nicholai Refugio, Bill Donton III, Heleana Dulzen Grace Donton, Seth Ryan Templanza, Jairus Luc Lagon, Kyle Chin, Jan Andrew Gancero and Jessamin Lauron.

Capturing gold in kyorugi event, meanwhile, were Chin, Denzil Palonpon, Cyrus Palonpon, and Rufino Barrato, while silver winners were Donton, Clarence Gancero, Paolo Gonzalez, Jex Jardio, Xandrew Refugio, Jairus Lagon and Dale Panuncio.

Bagging the kyorugi bronze medals were Art Josh Ramos, Janus Miguel Tacsagon. Ehyan Rhodwell Talabucon, Blair Allyson Tan, Joff Selviderio, Caleb Brigildo, Kian Castigador, Hannah Dello, Klieven Palma, Diana Dello, Zeth Isaiah Rico and Cian Luis Juntado.

“We are happy with our showing here,” said head coach Flora Navales. “As a coach, I am contented with their performance. All the players have gave their best and they deserve their medals.”/PN
