TO further boost its preparedness as a major implementing agency of the Universal Health Care (UHC), the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation have recently met with senior officials of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to enlist the latter’s support through financial and technical grants.
PhilHealth has been making the rounds meeting with key stakeholders such as legislators, health care provider groups, regulatory agencies, and technical and funding institutions such as the ADB to gather as much support for the UHC especially that the implementing rules and regulations of the UHC law already took effect on Nov. 22 this year.
