ILOILO City – Make way for the queen! Alexie Mae Caimoso Brooks, the Miss Eco International Philippines 2025, is coming home to this southern city tomorrow, June 11 – almost three weeks after the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 coronation night.
To celebrate the queen’s homecoming, a grand caravan around the city will be held at 4:30 p.m., followed by a program at 6:00 p.m. at the SM City Iloilo Northpoint.
Brooks, the reigning Miss Iloilo Universe, in a video posted on SM City Iloilo Facebook page yesterday, invited Ilonggos to witness her homecoming.
“Gina-imbitar ko kamo tanan nga mag-witness sang akon homecoming this June 11, 6 p.m., at SM City Iloilo Northpoint. And ang akon nga caravan sa city will start 4:30 in the afternoon. So magkilitaay kita nga tanan kag magsinadya. Abanse, Iloilo. Abanse, babaye!” she said.
On Wednesday, June 12, Brooks will also be honored at her hometown Leon.
The grand celebration will start with a caravan at 8 a.m. from Barangay Agboy Norte going to Barangays Buga and returning to Barangay Poblacion for a celebratory program at the Leon Fiesta Auditorium.
Leon residents are encouraged to join the event and celebrate Brooks’ remarkable achievements.
Brooks reached the Top 10 of the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 pageant held on May 22 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. She was eventually declared Miss Eco International Philippines 2025./PN
