Anne Curtis just laughed off speculations that she and her husband Erwan Heussaff are the “power couple” being referred to in a recent viral blind item.
The actress-TV host opened up about her marriage in an interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” Thursday, Feb. 5.
The topic was discussed after the show host asked how Curtis and Heussaff can relate to her and Jericho Rosales’ characters in the actors’ upcoming film “The Loved One.”
“I think we’re very different from Ellie and Eric,” she said, referring to the film characters.
Curtis admitted that she and Heussaff still quarrel, although she noted that it is often just about “really petty things.”
“Si Erwan ‘yung type na hindi talaga siya nakikipag-away,” she continued. “It kinda works out because we’re never clashing. Never nangyari ‘yung nag-sigawan or anything like that.”
“I think that’s why we’re so compatible. He’s the calm to my crazy,” she added.
When asked how she handles individuals who try to flirt with the celebrity chef, Curtis underscored that she trusts Heussaff, noting as well that there have been no such instances in their relationship.
Abunda then made mention of the recent viral blind item about a “power couple” whose marriage is apparently falling apart, saying some netizens guessed that it was Curtis and Heussaff.
“I knew about the issue but I didn’t know we’re part of the list,” said Curtis, who just shrugged it off. “I don’t know if I would consider Erwan and I a ‘power couple,’ but thank you for considering us.”
“I’ve been in the industry for so long and so many controversies have come my way, and I still live by that same motto I came up years ago — learn the art of deadma (being indifferent),” she stated.
Curtis added how she strives not to always stress about things as it manifests in one’s body.
During the interview, Curtis also disclosed that she is open to having another child, citing their daughter Dahlia’s desire for a sibling.
“Maybe one day. If God blesses us with it, then why not?” Curtis said.
