CELEBRITY siblings Solenn and Erwan Heussaff are mourning the death of their father, Louis Paul Heussaff, who passed away following his battle with dementia.
Cynthia Heussaff announced the death of her husband in an Instagram post on Saturday, Oct. 31, citing his battle with the neurological disorder characterized by loss of memory and other cognitive difficulties.
“In loving memory of our beloved husband and father. After struggling with dementia over the past few years, he passed away this morning, October 31 2026,” the matriarch wrote.
“While the last few years have been difficult, we hope that those who knew and loved him will remember him for the person he was, keep his spirited tales alive and cherish their happiest memories of him. With all our love, Cynthia, Vanessa, Solenn, and Erwan,” she added.
In the comments section, celebrities Heart Evangelista, Georgina Wilson, Isabelle Daza and Iza Calzado, among others, extended their condolences to the grieving family.
Solenn later took to Instagram to share a photo of her hugging her father, simply putting a red heart in the caption.
Aside from Solenn and Erwan, Louis and Cynthia also have an older daughter, Vanessa.
In July, Solenn opened up about her father’s condition through her latest collection of paintings, titled “Into the Unseen Garden,” which served as a tribute to Louis.
Solenn previously shared how her father’s dementia affected their family, including the changes in his behavior and memory.
Louis was a former sailor in the French Navy. He hailed from Brittany, France. He previously served as the head of a company that services the oil and gas industry.
Meanwhile, Solenn is married to Argentine businessman Nico Bolzico. They tied the knot in 2016 and have two daughters, Thylane and Maëlys, born in 2020 and 2022, respectively.
Erwan is married to actress and television host Anne Curtis. The couple wed in New Zealand in November 2017 and have a daughter, Dahlia Amélie, born in March 2020. (Philippine Daily Inquirer)
