ILOILO City – Another suspected shoplifter was arrested on Iznart Street.
Eden Barocca, 31, of Barangay San Juan, Molo district was detained at Police Station 1, a police report showed.
Barocca took six T-shirts worth a total of P1,100 in the WCHA Fashion House at the IBC Building without paying for them at around 9:45 a.m. on Monday, police said.
Store manager Mary Joy Batiles caught the suspect placing the items in his pants, the police report stated.
Earlier, several grocery items were seized from a native of Sara, Iloilo accused of shoplifting in Savemore Jaro 1 Supermarket in Jaro.
The 20-year-old Ganimed Muyco of Barangay Ardemil, Sara was arrested on Sunday and detained at the Jaro police station./PN
