ILOILO City – Two friends fought after a heated argument in Barangay San Miguel, Jordan, Guimaras. The incident led to one of them stabbing the other.
The 18-year-old Romar Joy Tamonan sustained stab wounds on the neck, left arm and left shoulder, a police report showed.
Tamonan was confined in the Dr. Catalino Gallego Provincial Hospital.
Police identified the suspect as the 39-year-old Jury Gagante. Officers were still hunting him down as of this writing.
Both were residents of Barangay San Miguel.
Their argument at around 9:45 p.m. on Monday resulted in a scuffle, and then Gagante stabbed Tamonan, police said.
