ANTIQUE – A man ended up in jail for possession of P81,600 worth of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 13 grams following a buy-bust operation in Barangay Funda-Dalipe, San Jose de Buenavista, Antique.
Apprehended by the local police for violations of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Act of 2002, was suspect Lowell Banggoy, alias “Ongil,” 40, a resident of Barangay Ingwan Batangan in the province’s Hamtic town.
San Jose Municipal Police Station (MPS) carried out the buy-bust operation around 5:26 p.m. on Monday, March 4, wherein the subject sold one plastic sachet containing suspected shabu to a police poseur buyer.
With the San Jose MPS during the operation were elements of the Antique Police Provincial Office, the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Antique./PN
