ANTIQUE – The health care utilization rate (HCUR) of the province of Antique has only reached 15.97 percent, as of March 6.
Based on data from the Department of Health (DOH) in Region-6 that out of 157 beds dedicated for COVID-19 in Antique, only 23 are occupied or 15.97 percent are low risk. This shows that the province designated isolation coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) with 137, only 28 beds are occupied, Intensive Care Units beds of 30 and all are available, and mechanical ventilators of 22 but only one is occupied.
While Antique’s two-week growth rate, from Feb 2, 2022, to Feb. 15, 2022, the province listed 302 cases, but from Feb. 16 to March 1 they listed only 106 cases or a cases difference of 196 or 65 percent chance.
In terms of the average daily attack rate, from Feb 2, 2022, to Feb. 15, 2022, it reached 6.82 percent, but from Feb. 16 to March 1 it dropped to 1.22 percent.
As of Feb. Mach 6, the province has reached 8,648 total confirmed cases, of which 88 are still active, 8,216 recovered, and 344 deaths.
The 108 active cases came from the towns of: Hamtic (11), Sibalom (10), San Jose (eight), Bugasong (seven), Caluya (seven), Barbara (five), Culasi (five), Lau-an. (five), Tobias Fornier (five), Valderrama (five), San Remigio (four), Tibiao (four), Pandan (three), Patnongon (three), Anini-y (one), Sebaste (three), and Libertad (one)./PN
