
ANTIQUE – The fourth most wanted person of Antique province was arrested by joint police operatives at around 10:45 a.m. on Sunday, January 25, in Barangay Poblacion, Antipas, Cotabato.
Authorities said the 43-year-old alias “Bolit Pilarca,” single, and a resident of Purok 6B, Barangay Poblacion, Antipas, Cotabato, is facing charges for murder under Article 248 of the Revised Penal Code.
He was caught by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 13, Culasi, Antique, with no bail recommended.
Officers of the Culasi Municipal Police Station (MPS) led the operation, with support from the Antipas MPS, the Antique Police Provincial Office’s Provincial Intelligence Team, and the Police Regional Office 6’s Regional Intelligence Unit.
Police said the arrest was conducted peacefully, and the suspect was informed of the nature of his arrest and his constitutional rights. He is currently in the custody of Culasi MPS pending turnover to the issuing court.
PRO-6 director Brigadier General Josefino Ligan lauded the operating units for their successful operation.
“This accomplishment reflects the unwavering commitment of our personnel in pursuing justice and ensuring that individuals who have committed serious crimes are held accountable.
