ILOILO City – Four employees were accused of stealing more than P24,000 worth of items from an appliance center on JM Basa Street, Barangay Yulo-Arroyo, City Proper, a police report showed.
The management of Good Choice Appliance and Electronic Center found the items in the house of two of the suspects. They recovered the items and turned them over to Police Station 1, a police report showed.
Human Resources Manager Rafael Palmerola Jr. told the police he learned that the employees had been allegedly stealing from the store only on Nov. 16.
Palmerola and security guard Bernardo Tuala identified the following as suspects:
* Nhilbert Supe, 26, of Barangay San Isidro, La Paz district
* Arnel Falle, 28, of Barangay Habog-Habog Salvacion, Molo
* Rynold Carrum, 32, of Barangay Nabitasan, La Paz
* Ian Jayn Alido, 26, of Barangay Manduyo, Alimodian, Iloilo
The allegedly stolen items and their respective costs were as follows: Four packs of handkerchiefs (P215 each); MIDI DVD player (P1,350); TOP LED Flat TV 24 inches (P4,250); Promac LED Flat TV 15 inches (P3,650); Pensonic LED Flat TV 22 inches (P5,550); TOP LED Flat TV 22 inches (P3,650); two pairs of black and gray Nike sandals (P60 each);
Five Nike sling bags (P100 each); BTS blue sling bag (P175); seven fashion wallets (P150 each); six sling bags (P30 each); Cath Kidston sling bag (P235); 20 Junmei belt bags (P65 each); Kevin portable fan (P85); and four Stella Candente LED Christmas lights (P350 each).
Palmerola and Tuala told the officers that they recovered these items from the house of Supe and Falle and that the latter two admitted taking the items with the help of Carrum and Alido, the police report stated.
No case has been filed against the suspects as of this writing. Police were still investigating the incident./PN
