ILOILO City – A resident of Barangay Hinactacan, La Paz district stabbed his nephew.
Nicanor Jaruda, 65, fled after attacking nephew Elmo, 49, a police report showed.
They were walking home around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday when Elmo accused Jaruda of stealing his goat.
A heated argument ensued between them, prompting Jaruda to stab Elmo with a knife on the left and right chest, police said.
Elmo was taken to the West Visayas State University Medical Center where he was confined.
Jaruda remains at large as of this writing./PN
