BACOLOD City – Police in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental arrested a man wanted for attempted murder and another for illegal possession of firearm.
John Paul Rosario, 20, Third Marc Ondac, 22 — both of Barangay Tabugon, Kabankalan City — have just come out from a computer gaming and internet shop in the village when officers caught them.
Both were detained at the Kabankalan City police station.
Police served Ondac an arrest warrant for attempted murder. Regional Trial Court Branch 61 (Kabankalan City) Judge Rodney Magbanua issued the warrant on Jan. 18 and set the bail at P120,000.
At the same time, police officers and barangay officials arrested Rosario upon seeing a gun tucked in his waist. It was a.38-caliber revolver loaded with five live bullets.
The arrests were made around 3:30 p.m. on May 30./PN
