
BACOLOD City – The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) and the Bacolod City Mobile Force Company (BCMFC) were recognized during the celebration of the 124th Police Service Anniversary of the Philippine National Police (PNP) on August 18 at Camp Alfredo M. Montelibano Sr. in this city.
The Police Regional Office-Negros Island Region (PRO-NIR) led the awarding rites, where the BCPO was named Best City Police Office and the BCMFC as Best City Mobile Force Company.
The recognition, according to the BCPO, underscores the outstanding performance and dedicated service of both units in law enforcement, maintaining peace and order, and strengthening community relations in Bacolod.
It added that the awards stand as a testament to their commitment to excellence, professionalism, and public service.
The 124th Police Service Anniversary carried the theme “Serbisyong May Malasakit, Kaalaman, at Katapatan Tungo sa Kapayapaan” in honor of the selfless contributions of police officers to community safety and peace.
The event also featured a demonstration of BCPO’s operational response capability, highlighting the efficiency and readiness of its personnel in delivering swift and effective police services.
