BACOLOD City – The Bacolod City Government has made its official Bacolod G-App available for download on the Google Play Store, giving Android users easier access to information and services from the local government.
The city government is also encouraging local businesses to use the application to showcase their products and services, reach more Bacolod residents and connect with potential customers.
Business establishments can feature their products and services through the G-App free of charge, according to Secretary-to-the Mayor Atty. Marty Go.
He said the application serves as a digital platform for city government news and announcements, public advisories, city programs and activities, government services, events, business-related information, and employment opportunities.
Mayor Greg Gasataya introduced the G-App as part of the city’s digital governance initiatives during his first State of the City Address (SOCA) on July 8, 2026.
He described the application as a step toward modernizing public service and bringing City Hall closer to residents.
The G-App is expected to make government information and services more accessible to Bacolodnons by allowing them to access various city government resources through their smartphones.
Go said the application will be available soon on the Apple App Store for iPhone users./PN
