BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu worth about P170,000 was recovered in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Don Jorge Araneta, Bago City, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
Drug suspect Rodel Llupar, 37, of Barangay 2, Bago City was arrested around 5:30 p.m. on Monday, the report further stated.
Llupar’s arrest came after he sold shabu to an undercover officer for P25,000, police said.
The marked money was only P100 placed on top of cut-out papers, added the police.
Llupar’s black motorcycle was also confiscated. He was detained at the Bago City police station lockup facility and facing charges for violation of sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
