BACOLOD City – A man was found dead in a nipa hut in Barangay Cabatangan, Talisay City, Negros Occidental around 12:30 a.m. on Oct. 28.
Leo Benes, 37, was a resident of Barangay Mailum, Bago City, Negros Occidental.
According to land owner Ramon Carmelo who discovered the body, Benes had a wound on the head.
The police launched an investigation./PN
