ILOILO City – Suspected drug dealers in Barangay Bakhaw, Mandurriao district evaded arrest during a buy-bust operation of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 6.
The PDEA identified the suspects as Darlyn “Negra” Jimena and a certain “Ipeng.”
Undercover agents were able to seize from the suspects a sachet of suspected shabu worth an estimated P5,000 at around 7 p.m. on Saturday.
But the suspects managed to escape.
PDEA agents were currently searching for them and preparing charges for violation of Section 5 (selling) of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 for filing in court./PN
