ILOILO City – In Barangay Agbanawan, Banga, Aklan the police caught a man carrying a homemade gun yesterday.
The 26-year-old John Joe Retis of Barangay Policate, Banga was taken to the municipal police station around 1:05 a.m.
Policemen patrolling Barangay Agbanawan spotted Retis and stopped to inspect him.
They found Retis with a .22 revolver with six live ammunitions.
Retis faces a charge for illegal gun possession, a violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
