BARBIE Imperial could not help but be emotional as she began the construction of her own house in Bicol — a dream she was able to fulfill after years of hard work.
The actress shared the milestone while showing moments from the groundbreaking ceremony, through her Instagram page on Tuesday, Jan. 20. Imperial also gave a peek into the design of the house, which will include a garden and a pool area.
“May bahay na ako sa Bicol,” she exclaimed. “Oh my… 10 years in the industry and was able to put a roof over my mama and kuya’s heads, and now I have my own home in my province.”
“Thank you to everyone who helped me achieve my dreams in life,” she continued.
She underscored her utmost gratitude to her home network ABS-CBN and her talent management company Star Magic for the projects they entrusted her.
“To everyone who trusted me and continues to trust me, thank you,” she stated. “Nakakaiyak kasi sobrang pinagpaguran ko ‘to ng ilang taon.. puyat, pagod, at ilang beses na iyak.”
“Salamat sa Diyos at syempre sa nag-iisa kong lakas, mama.. Para sayo ‘to lahat,” she concluded.
Just last December, Imperial moved into her new place in Metro Manila.
Meanwhile, Imperial also recently made headlines after her relationship with actor Richard Gutierrez was finally confirmed to the public. (Anne Pasajol © Philippine Daily Inquirer)
