BACOLOD City – The lifeless body of a barker was discovered on Burgos-Hilado Road in Barangay 17, Bacolod City, early Monday morning, Feb. 26.
The deceased was identified as Debil Montano, 54, a resident of Purok Avocado, Barangay 20, in the same city.
Captain Glenn Montaño, Bacolod Police Station 2 commander, said there were no signs of struggle, injuries, or missing items from Debil’s person, nor indications of foul play.
His wallet was found intact in his pocket.
Montaño added that Debil had a history of mild stroke.
It is known that Debil has been a barker for a long time and would sometimes work as a parking attendant, occasionally spending nights on the streets without returning home./PN
