ILOILO City – In Barangay General Luna, Barotac Viejo, Iloilo, a 29-year-old resident had been shot and killed.
Efren Bagatnan was declared dead at the district hospital in the town.
Police identified the shooter as 51-year-old Marconi Jamosin.
Investigators were still trying to identify the motive as of this writing.
A police report indicated that the shooting happened around 11:45 p.m. on Friday while Jamosin was arrested more than two hours later.
The suspect was detained at the Barotc Viejo police station./PN
