Bea Alonzo and Tom Rodriguez were announced as the headliners of the upcoming GMA political thriller series “Whispers from Heaven.”
Alonzo and Rodriguez attended the story conference for the project on Friday, March 6, as seen on GMA Network’s Instagram page.
“What if heaven had something to say? Find out soon as Bea Alonzo leads the upcoming political thriller series ‘Whispers from Heaven,’” the caption read.
Aside from Alonzo and Rodriguez, other cast members include Maricar Reyes, Jason Abalos, Jake Macapagal, and Cassy Legaspi.
Further details about the TV series — which will be helmed by Zig Dulay with associate director Jorron Lee Monroy — have yet to be announced as of this writing. The actress nonetheless teased that the series is timely for the 2028 elections.
This is not the first time Alonzo and Rodriguez were cast together in a project, as they already starred in a special episode of the drama anthology series “Magpakailanman” in 2025. (Anne Pasajol © Philippine Daily Inquirer)
