Binalbagan man stabbed

BACOLOD City – A stabbing incident in Barangay Payao, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental left one person wounded.

The 20-year-old Arnelo Turno Jr. was recuperating at the Binalbagan Infirmary Clinic. He sustained multiple stab wounds on the body, police said.

The suspect was identified as Mark Joan Robles, also a resident of the said village.

According to the police, the incident happened around 12:45 a.m. on March 26.

Turno and Robles was having a drinking session with their friends at the house of Almarie Nobles – the mother-in-law of the suspect.

Police said without apparent reason, the suspect attacked the victim using a bladed weapon.

Officers of the Binalbagan municipal police station conducted a manhunt operation against the suspect Robles, who fled after the incident./PN
