BACOLOD City – Two security guards assigned at Hacienda Bella Bail in Barangay Tuguis, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental allegedly shot a laborer dead on Wednesday.
Julius Denagiba, 35, a resident of the village, died of a gunshot wound, police said.
Tagged suspects were Roger Belonio, 55, of Barangay Singcang-Airport here and Eric Soriano of Barangay San Isidro, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental. They were still at large as this was being written.
According to initial police investigation, Denagiba was harvesting Napier grass around 9:30 a.m. when the guards ordered him to stop. An argument ensued.
Denagiba was rushed to the Hinigaran Emergency Clinic but the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”
The suspects were members of the RHN Security Agency.
