BACOLOD City – A bullet-riddled body of a suspected “salvage” victim was found in Barangay Paraiso, Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
The still unidentified man was discovered lying in a sugarcane field in Hacienda Conchita 3 in Barangay Paraiso yesterday morning, according to village chief Pete Flores.
Policemen of Sagay City said the victim – estimated to be about 60 years of age – was wearing a yellow shirt and blue short pants.
He may have been killed somewhere else and dumped in the area, they added.
Investigations to find out the victim’s identity and his killers were ongoing as of this writing./PN
