ILOILO City – Illegal gambling charges may be filed against a 29-year-old woman from Barangay 2 Poblacion, Igbaras, Iloilo.
Officers caught Gemma Elesyeria collecting bets for “bookies” in Barangay Jovellar, Igbaras, a police report showed.
A ball pen, two tally sheets, betting stubs, and P780 bet money were recovered from her.
Elesyeria was taken to the Igbaras police station where she was detained after her arrest around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday./PN
