ILOILO City – Police arrested a resident of Barangay Dulonan, Arevalo district charged for issuing a “bouncing” check.
The 59-year-old Marjee Coloso was listed as the No. 5 most wanted person in the Arevalo police station.
Officers served her a warrant of arrest at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, a police report showed.
Charged with violation of Batas Pambansa 22, Coloso has been wanted for three years already, police said.
Judge Jerry Marañon of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities in the component city of Passi, Iloilo province issued the warrant and set the bail bond at P2,000, stated the police report.
Coloso was detained in the custodial facility of the Arevalo police station./PN
