ILOILO City – Another person was arrested over bouncing checks, this time in Barangay Lawaan, Roxas City.
Francisco Gallardo of Barangay Libas, Roxas City was charged with four counts of violation of Batas Pambansa 22.
Officers served the 37-year-old with a warrant of arrest around 9:30 a.m. yesterday, a police report showed.
The court recommended a P30,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty.
Gallardo was detained at the Roxas City police station.
Bouncing checks also landed a woman from Dumangas, Iloilo in jail.
Roselyn Catanyag, 43, of Barangay Calao, Dumangas was charged with three counts of violation of the same law.
Police arrested her in her house at 9 a.m. on Monday. She was detained at the Dumangas police station./PN
