ILOILO City – Ramon Verde has been sent behind bars.
The 51-year-old resident of Barangay Caluya, Nueva Valencia, Guimaras was accused of sexually abusing a minor.
Officers served the suspect a warrant of arrest in the village at around 5 a.m. yesterday, a police report showed.
Verde was detained at the Nueva Valencia police station custodial facility.
The court recommended a hefty P200,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
