THE BUREAU of the Treasury (BTr) raised P25 billion from the Treasury bills (T-bills) auction on Monday, October 27, higher than the P22 billion initial offer.
“The auction was 3.9 times oversubscribed with total bids reaching P85.4 billion, prompting the Committee to double the accepted non-competitive bids for the 182-day T-bills to P6 billion,” the BTr said.
Total tenders for the 91-day T-bills reached P29.6 billion. The Auction Committee accepted P7 billion, with yield settling at 4.858 percent.
For the 182-day T-bills, total tenders reached P33.5 billion.
The Auction Committee accepted P10.5 billion, up from the P7.5 billion initial offer.
The average yield for the debt paper was at 5.044 percent.
The BTr said total tender for the 364-day T-bills reached P22.4 billion.
The Auction Committee accepted P7.5 billion with yield settling at 5.093 percent. (PNA)
