ANTIQUE — Operatives of the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) arrested the No. 1 most wanted person at the municipal level in Bugasong town during a manhunt operation in Barangay Pangalcagan on Sunday morning, May 24.
The suspect, identified by the aliases “Dondon” and “Dongdong,” 20, is a resident of the said barangay.
He was apprehended by virtue of a warrant of arrest for murder issued on May 14, 2026 by the Regional Trial Court, Sixth Judicial Region, Branch 64 in Bugasong, Antique. No bail was recommended for his temporary liberty.
The joint operation was spearheaded by tracker teams from the Bugasong Municipal Police Station (MPS), with support from the 2nd Antique Provincial Mobile Force Company, the Antique Police Provincial Office’s Provincial Intelligence Team, and the Regional Intelligence Unit 6.
The suspect is currently in the custody of Bugasong MPS for proper documentation before being turned over to the issuing court.
“This accomplishment reflects the relentless dedication and strong coordination of our operating units in tracking down wanted persons,” stated PRO-6 director Police Brigadier General Randulf T.
