BACOLOD City – A Ceres Liner bus accidentally slammed into a waiting lounge yesterday afternoon in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.
Four persons were injured.
The bus overshot the gutter and accelerated at the waiting lounge, a closed circuit television (CCTV) footage showed.
The bus was trying to park at its spot at the time in preparation for a trip to Bayawan City.
An old lady and three minors were also seen in the CCTV footage being hit by the wayward bus.
Vallacar Transit Incorporated (VTI) media relations officer Jade Seballos said two of the four victims required hospitalization, while the other two were discharged from the hospital after receiving treatment.
Dumaguete City police, meanwhile, took custody of the bus driver./PN
