BACOLOD City – The Association of Negros Producers (ANP) is encouraging Negrenses to patronize locally made products.

“We continue to urge Negrenses to support local by buying ANP products, which are all made in Negros,” said the association president Christina Gaston.

Gaston led the launch of The Negros Showroom at the ground floor of SM City Bacolod – the ANP’s second – recently.

The ANP’s first showroom is at Robinsons Place Bacolod.

Setting up showrooms at areas of convergence like shopping malls will enable ANP member-producers to attract more buyers, Gaston said.

These showrooms bring “tatak local” products closer to the people, she added.

Gaston said the SM City showroom would serve as a “temporary exhibit” until Dec. 31 since they plan to open a permanent store next year.

Most of the products displayed at the newly opened showroom are under the furniture and furnishing sector.

“The ongoing exhibit is proof of ANP’s commitment to reach new markets and continuously promote the unique products of its members and the communities it serves,” she said. (PNA)
