BACOLOD City – An unidentified suspect held up a taxi driver and took his vehicle and money in Villa Angela Subdivision, Barangay Villamonte.

The 49-year-old Alejandro Potato of Barangay Alijis told the police the suspect hired his cab around 11:30 p.m. Monday near a convenience store in Barangay 16 and asked to be taken to the subdivision.

When they arrived, the suspect pointed a knife at Potato’s neck and declared holdup.

Police said the suspect grabbed Potato’s P2,500 cash and told the driver to get off the vehicle.

The suspect took the driver’s seat and drove away, leaving Potato unharmed.

The stolen Neo Lines taxi had the body number 313./PN
