BACOLOD City – A motorcycle crashed against a delivery van on Villena Street, Barangay Zone 2, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
The 28-year-old resident Jonemar Arcolas died.
According to the Cadiz City police, Arcolas – a construction worker – was driving the motorcycle on his way home when he bumped into the van, which was taking a left turn, the report stated.
Arcolas sustained head and body injuries, police said.
He was rushed to the Cadiz District Hospital where the attending physician pronounced him “dead on arrival.”
The van was registered to Jimmy Daniels and was driven by the 47-year-old Noe Illustrisimo of Barangay Himogaan Baybay, Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
Illustrisimo was detained at the Cadiz City lockup facility and may face charges, police said
