ILOILO City – Four thieves did not just take his mobile phone but also ganged up on him, the 28-year-old call center agent Jule Fritz Amboy told the Mandurriao police.
Amboy, a resident of Landheights Subdivision VI in Barangay Guzman-Gesena in the district, claimed he did not know his attackers.
The incident happened at around 3:30 a.m. on Sept. 14 beside One Madison Place at the Iloilo Business Park in Barangay Taft North, a police report showed.
One of the thieves grabbed his Samsung J7 worth P18,000 while the others rushed to maul him, said Amboy. He tried to run after the suspects but the latter escaped on board a motorcycle, he told the police.
Officers were still trying to identify the suspects as of this writing./PN
