ILOILO City – The Sara District Hospital in Iloilo province was where a 49-year-old barangay kagawad landed after he got stabbed yesterday.
Wilson Dasas, village councilman in Barangay Apolosista, Sara, was wounded on the right chest and left arm, police said.
Police identified the suspect as the 45-year-old Elmer Greporio of the same barangay.
A heated argument between the two led to the stabbing at around 12:40 a.m., police said.
Greporio was arrested and detained at the Sara police station.
His weapon – a 5-inch knife – was seized from him./PN
