ILOILO City – A man who challenged a neighbor to a fight in Barangay Harique, Caluya, Antique was hospitalized.

The 50-year-old Larry Silverio was rushed to the Occidental Mindoro District Hospital around 7 p.m. on Tuesday for a wound on the chest.

Silverio was stabbed with a fishing spear after challenging suspect Raffy Mateo, 27, to a fight, police said.

Mateo was detained at the Caluya police station./PN
