BACOLOD City – A Cebu native was accused of illegally selling a firearm.

Police arrested Alrem Richard Narte of Consolacion, Cebu at the parking lot of a mall on Araneta Street, Barangay Singcang-Airport here on Thursday.

Narte allegedly sold an unlicensed firearm to an undercover police officer, Aksyon Radyo-Bacolod reported.

Two .45-caliber pistols, a 9mm pistol and several magazines were seized from him.

Officers from the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group and the Regional Special Operation Task Group staged the operation.

Narte was facing charges for illegal possession of firearms. He was detained at Police Station 8./PN
