BACOLOD City – Two persons were arrested at a checkpoint in Barangay Poblacion 2, Sagay City, Negros Occidental for violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
Orley Hernando Dulaca, 29, was from Barangay Blumentritt, Murcia town while companion Danilo Prietos Villanueva, 52, was from Hacienda Caridad 3, Barangay Luna, Cadiz City.
Dulaca yielded an unlicensed .45 Taurus pistol with two magazines and 11 live bullets while Villanueva had a knife.
According to Chief Inspector Robert Mansueto, Sagay City acting police chief, the two motorcycle-riding suspects were stopped at the checkpoint around 12:15 a.m. on Friday./PN
