BACOLOD City – Two women were arrested in Purok Sampaguita, Barangay Su-ay, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental on Wednesday.
Imelda Mejorada, 56, and Krystil Ann Mejorada, 30, were charged with violation of Republic Act 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act), a police report showed.
Judge Walter Zorilla of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 55 ordered the suspects’ arrest.
A P80,000 bail bond each was recommended for their temporary liberty.
