BACOLOD City – A security guard faces charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
He was caught carrying a .9mm pistol at a checkpoint in Barangay 2, La Carlota City around 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 20.
Twenty-seven-year-old Marvin Gonzaga of Barangay Binubuhan, Bago City, Negros Occidental was taken to the La Carlota City police station.
A magazine for a .9mm pistol and four unfired cartridges were also recovered, a police report showed./PN
