Singer and social media influencer Chloe San Jose has graduated from Korea University in Seoul, marking a milestone in her journey as an international student.
San Jose shared the news on Instagram on Friday, Jan. 30, as she posted photos from her graduation and reflected on her experience in South Korea.
“First beautiful plot twist of 2026: lived in Seoul as an international student and attended one of the top universities in Korea,” she wrote. “Literally a real-life K-drama ending to the first chapter of the year.”
Korea University is ranked among South Korea’s top universities and is one of the country’s most prestigious, or “SKY,” universities, alongside Seoul National University and Yonsei University.
San Jose rose to fame as the girlfriend of two-time Olympic Filipino gymnast medalist Carlos Yulo. They made headlines following a spat involving her and her boyfriend against the latter’s family.
San Jose later pursued a career in music by releasing her single “Aking Pagmamahal.” She then signed a contract with ABS-CBN’s StarPop in March and officially launched her debut mini-album “Chloe Anjeleigh… For Real” three months later.
San Jose previously made guest appearances on the music variety show “ASAP” in 2019 and 2024, where she performed Jireh Lim’s “Dahan” and Camila Cabello’s “Havana,” respectively. (Jessica Ann Evangelista © Philippine Daily Inquirer)
